Callie's Field Day 2010

Callie's Field Day was on Tuesday, May 4th...she did sooo much better this year...last year Callie was awarded the green participation ribbon for coming in last in every event...But this year, Callie came in 2nd in one race and never came in less than 3rd place! She improved so Much! Way to go Callie Rae!

Cancer...

On April 23rd, Walter Harter's fight with Cancer ended...and as the days pass it is my hope that we will think less and less of this past year and CANCER and remember more and more the Walt we all knew BEFORE Cancer...Before August 2009...Click on the link below to view Walt's obituary and slide show.

Girl Scout "Thinking Day" 2010

The Girl Scout "Thinking Day" 2010 was all about Australia...Chelsea had a great time earning her badge...Callie was upset that she had to stay outside All Day....she did not want her picture taken!

Easter 2010

The girls and I went Easter Dress shopping in College Station couple of weeks before Easter...Callie wanted a dress on an "American Princess" hanger...once she was in the dressing room, I went out slipped the dress that I liked onto the "American Princess" hanger and she loved it...Sometimes her being able to read is a real disadvantage. Chelsea liked the blue dress...Callie said that she looked like a beautiful Blue Fairy! Then off to buy shoes...I suggested that they both needed a new pair of white ballet slippers...which they agreed, until they saw that I did not mean a new pair of actual "dance" shoes...but instead a pair of dress shoes! LOL

Leon County 4-H Fashion Show

Chelsea participated in the Leon County 4-H Fashion Show on March 26th...She won 1st place in the dressy category and qualifies to compete at the district level. She was really nervous and did not want to go through with the interview, but she did a fantastic job!

February / March

OK...so It has been really busy around the Harter House....Girl Scout Cookie sales, Snow Days, UIL Academics, Baby Calves, 4-H Fashion show....and HIVES!!!! So I am not going to try to play catch up...I am just going to try to start from today to stay on top of this blog!!!!
