Debbie delivered the pictures today that she took of the girls in the bluebonnets... They were beautiful -
Callie had either cut or pulled out some of her hair in the front and Debbie was able to photo shop correct the problem. If you live near Fairfield, you should really get Debbie to take photos for you. She does fantastic work and is very easy going, always putting my girls at ease. My girls are so different and yet they ARE sisters.

Wow! The Spring of the year at school is REALLY busy...I think that we actually came home one afternoon all week last week AND I can't keep it straight this week as to what day it is! We have been working on Prom decorations...the joys of being a Junior class sponsor (What was I thinking???) I learned how to make seaweed, kelp..or something that looks like it came out of the sea from that spray caulking stuff - which you really should use gloves when working with like the "directions" clearly state! Chelsea and Callie (my school RATS), played in an empty trash can on wheels in the hallways...yes unsupervised, because I was supervising high school kids that we cutting and painting prom decorations. Their game kept them busy until the trash can flipped over spilling Callie out on her head...she is fine! I still have chicks in the laundry room, and I know I have something that I am supposed to do after school tomorrow...but I can't remember! Like I said, the Spring is CRAZY at school.

Easter Sunday!!! The girls looked so cute in their new Easter dresses...Callie's dress was a hand- me -down from Chelsea BUT the hat was brand new. We set out for church with new Bibles in tow... The weather had been predicted to be awful, but by the time church let out the sun was already trying to peek out from behind the clouds. Oscar and I decided to go out to moms even though we had been uninvited ...I told him that I had cooked a turkey and had side dishes, and that we should really go - So I called mother and told her that we were coming ! She was a little panicked, but it all worked out great! We had plenty of food and you could not ask for a prettier day. The kids hunted eggs...Wes only found 12, because as he found an egg, he opened it, took out the candy, ate the candy, and threw the wrapper and empty egg down, and only then did he set out for another egg!!!! Callie found 84 eggs, Chelsea 62 eggs, and Abby found 46 eggs! I think that we over did the eggs this year! Wes found the prize egg, showed the dollar to Chelsea and said, "Look Chelsea money!"...He then threw down the dollar and the empty egg. I was so tired last night that I found it hard to sleep! Well, only six weeks of school left ... Only six more Monday mornings in this school year!

When I went out to feed this afternoon, I snapped a few photos!
OK...My cousin has the most beautiful blog and she has inspired me to create my own family blog. Yesterday was a busy day, I sent treats for Chelsea's third grade old fashioned ice cream parlor party and I attended Callie's kindergarten Easter Party during my conference period. I am so glad to work at a school with all three schools in one location. The girls were full of sugar before we ever made it to the car...We then stopped at the feed store for donkey feed, where we brought home 8 baby chicks because I could not resist. So by the time Charlie came home the girls were on a complete sugar high, there were 8 chicks making lots of noise in the laundry room, and our cats were meowing their heads off at the laundry room door...All of which he seemed to think that I needed to explain! ...Emily, this is for you!
